A Place To Dream

We have documented our rooms in the typical way: taking photos, rendering images, making drawings… but we felt that we were falling short of what we could achieve and the impact these designs—potentially—could generate. So, we decided to show the children's rooms in a different way; we chose to create a story.

Once again, passion took over us. We found in storytelling the opportunity to express our values as mothers and daughters, our aesthetic values as architects, and the freedom of boundless imagination… So, we didn't just tell a story; we made a pilot video that integrated all these elements.

And, as our Venezuelan roots inspire us, we organized an event with a double purpose: to present the video and to encourage reading. An unforgettable afternoon filled with children, books, drawings, and experiences. We called this event "A Place to Dream," and we asked for a donation of one book per child invited, to create a mini library that would allow other children to enjoy reading and keep adding to it.
